What used to be New (in early 2005)

Changes since the website update in November of 2004 include:

Eight months after moving in and after Jeff took down all the drywall downstairs, we have finally started the renovation of the house.

We had Mom (Martin) and Aunt Whoopee out to visit sometime in the fall.

We had Mom and Dad (Stokes) out to visit sometime in the spring.

Jeff took a permanent local job at CH2M Hill. This should allow a life in San Diego, include such luxuries as keeping the web site up to date. He is doing highway design stuff. The beyond-shoulder-length hair was cut back to the eternal "Skippy" length. After six weeks on the job they have run him off to a CalTrans Construction Trailer (starting Monday, May 16). "And now for something completely different. Again." Sixteen years of work, always something new.

Jeff sold his 8" scope (shown on other pages) for an 11" scope.

Before starting work Jeff and Leigh went to Turkey.

On the Horizon

On the horizon, it looks like some trees, a beach and some hills. Har! Who knows what's in the immediate pipeline. We did get time to do a little sailing in on Sunday (May 29). We're new at it, but so far haven't hurt anybody, and boats or any docks; so far so good.!
